About Gracie Gean

I am not my pain slide-2 - Copy.jpg

Gracie Gean began this journey in the gym while kickboxing. She injured both wrists and required a series of surgeries. One of those surgeries resulted in the onset of Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, also known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, in her right hand, wrist, and forearm. CRPS is rated the most painful chronic pain disease known to modern medicine. The CRPS later spread to her left arm too. She also discovered that she has underlying Lyme Disease and is now battling that disease as well. Like many others with chronic pain, she has accumulated several other diagnoses since then, including Occipital Neuralgia, Spinal Stenosis, and Spondylosis, and Degenerative Disc Disease.

Gracie Gean set out on a mission to learn as much as possible about chronic pain diseases and began creating virtual support groups along the way. During her  journey through these complex diseases, she has gained a large network of peer patients all around the world. She has tried many cutting edge treatments and publicly shared her experiences. Gracie Gean has participated in public speaking events across the Country.  Gracie Gean loves to collaborate with multiple organizations.  Gracie has hosted the Midwest Pain Treatment Education Expo since 2014, the largest pain patient education event in the US. In 2016 she founded GG Chronic Pain Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit.  Gracie Gean is also fully HIPAA/HITECH certified, so you can trust that all of your private information will be kept completely confidential!
